I was so excited to go to a coupon class with my friend Hope. We went to a EXTREME Coupon workshop with Jenny from Southernsavers. I wanted to go because I would love to teach coupon classes one day and I wanted to see how one was run. I already know how to get the most out of CVS, Walgreens, and Publix but I learned some other things I was suprised at. If you ever get chance I would go to one of her coupon classes, even if you think you have this coupon thing down.. It was a great experience!! Here are some great tips I learned:
1) Did you know CVS has both ads running at 6pm on Saturday?(!!!!) As long as it is not a 24 hr CVS, you can go there and get both weeks deals. This was amazing news to me. All the Extra Care Bucks are running for each week together!!!
2) Most CVS's allow more than 1 transaction. I have always been scared to ask for more than 1 transaction, however she said almost all CVS's allow it. This will save a lot of time for me running back and forth to CVS multiple times a week.
3) If you get a raincheck from CVS, they do not expire and you will still get your Extra Care Bucks!! This is great news, because you might have your raincheck and then a new coupon comes out to make a better deal. I am not a big fan of going to CVS, and then finding everything is gone, but this makes it okay.
4)Most Publix's will take expired coupons as long as it is in within a week! This is great news to me!!
5) If you get a Raincheck at Publix for an item that is not on the shelves and you hae a coupon that will expire, you can bring it to them to write on it that they will still take it!!
6) I would highly recommend going to her coupon class. If you would like to see her schedule go here. It just taught me, in the world of couponing there is always something new to learn
