Here is a picture of my coupon binder. I use baseball card
sheets to store my coupons in for food products. I just started
using this method so we will see how it goes. I actually had
someone make a comment in Walmart today about my binder.
They said "Wow that is more valuable than baseball cards these
days. " I just laughed. I truly had no idea how much money I
could save using coupons. For example at Publix this week my
subtotal was $21.25 My savings were $19.15.
At Walmart this week my subtotal was $54.70 after
coupons I paid $26.82. So my total savings was $47.03.
Don't quote me on that I am not a math teacher. I would show
youthe receipts but my camera is not working at the moment.
So I almost saved $50 this week. I don't care who you are...
everyone wants to keep more money in their pocket. I could still
pay for my groceries without coupons but I like having money
left over to use on things such as date night with my hubby. If you
are still on the line with it just try it for a month and then
re-evaluate your view on coupons.
Here are some tips:
1) Buy only things you will eat
2) If there is a coupon you like.... print more than one
*at Publix when they do Buy 1 Get 1 Free you can use
two coupons-you can get things for free this way
3) Buy the smallest size of something....you save more
money this way
4) Always have your coupons available...if you do not want to
carry a binder like me you can use envelopes
Let me know how it goes :)
